Like gardening, but don’t like all the hard work associated with it?  This may be just for you.  If you are like me, I like to put a garden in every year.  However, as my mind wrestles with tilling the soil; all the weeding, and watering, and tending to this plot of land; sometimes it gets done, and sometimes it doesn’t.  It is a lot of work, and most of it is on your hands and knees or all bent over in uncomfortable positions.  It’s hot out.  There are bugs everywhere.  Could there possibly be an easier way?  There sure is, and it is better for the environment, the soil life underneath, water infiltration, etc., etc.  Join us July 28th to discover a “new” way of raising your own vegetables with a lot less work, and more yield.  Let’s make it an enjoyable trip next time we go to the garden.  Let’s let nature work for us.  We need good soil life and good soil structure.  This alone will allow more water infiltration and soil life that will do a lot of the hard work for us.  Oh yea, weeds.  Well, we will take care of them too.  Imagine a garden that you don’t have to till and seldom have to weed or water.  With a little bit of knowledge and prep work in the off season, you can just plant and harvest.  Wouldn’t that be nice?

Save the Date for the exciting fall workshop on October 13 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at 7187 LeRaysville Road, Rome, PA (actual location is in West Warren PA).  This will be an outside event at a local gardener’s place using just these practices.  See it in action, and dress accordingly.
